yeah so just taking a picture of the top doesnt tell us anything. you would need to rotate the crank with a socket on it to line up the harmonic balancer to the timing marks on the cover and then look at the cams to see if they line up...
alright one of the diagrams shows the ecm is suppose to send out power to the ac pressure switch and to the ac relay. if there is no voltage to the switch are you sure that the ac compressor is enabled in ecm link?
you will need to remove the exhaust manifold and check for oil in the manifold and oil in the head. you can also just let the car get to operating temperature and then remove the spark plug and if its covered in oil you know its the valve stem...
depending on the context of the picture, and you saying you use to have a 3rd gen eclipse; the marks usually never line up if you just look at them after the car has been runningdid you just replace the timing belt, or did you just walk outisde...
when you did the boost leak test how bad was it leaking out of the biss screw?double check the throttle position sensor is fully plugged in. could have a bad connection and the car cant see the tps valuesI would perform a fuel pressure...
the gates racing belts have more tension resistance to them when they are new. your first rotations of the crank to top dead center again will have a few variations, typically you will notice the arm is too tight to the hydraulic tensioner...
pry on it, spin it a little then pry again. the retaining clip needs to recess into the shaft and sometimes you have to pry it a few times as you rotate
the automatic transmission cars have a 3rd fan relay.you need to back track the power readings. is it getting 12v to the pressure switch on the drier behind the drivers side headlight?is the compressor fuse getting 12v?is the fuse box...
is it an automatic or manual?does the ac switch light turn on in thedashhttps://charm.li/Mitsubishi/1998/Eclipse%20GSX%20AWD%20L4-1997cc%202.0L%20DOHC%20Turbo%20MFI/Repair%20and%20Diagnosis/
the module under the center console usually goes bad.if you unplug the module the light goes away. I do not believe the module communicates with the obd port, it just measures resistance of the sensors plugged to it. I could be wrong though
that could be a problem with the map sensor. it measures intake manifold pressure. try unplugging the sensor and see if it starts with the brake hose hooked back up
the graphite on the gasket makes the gasket seal imperfections in the mating surface just like the copper spray doesI have used the copper spray on a graphite gasket with no issues, but technically speaking its like putting extra glue on top...
if you take off the intake tube and hold open the throttlw body and spray staring fluid in it, will it start and run for a second or two?have you verified at the fuel pump, that the fuel pump is receiving 12volts to power on? you may need to...
I like to use the evo fuel pump grommet on the pump installs. you can find them on site vendors like extreme psi and others for less than $5it fits on the barb of the fuel pump and slides into the fuel pump hanger neck better than the o ring...
