I recently repaired my header/turbo gasket because it was causing a boost leak. Before it ran fine under boost and only ever reached 16psi with the leak. Once repaired I notice a quicker spool and also a whole lot more boost. Car is reaching way more than it can handle and the motor isn’t getting enough fuel to keep up. I messed with my boost controller and set it as low as possible but the same issue occurred. I think the boost controller is faulty but not sure if it could be something else. Thanks!

Still kind of vague. Are yiu dating it hits a certain boost and stays there and then as rpms rise boost starts to go up? If that description is accurate it's a condition called boost creep.
If you have a full turbo back 3" exhaust and a stock internal wastegate that's a problem. What do you have and is my description accurate?

Lol, you don't have a boost creep problem... You have fuel shortage. You need more supporting mods - like ECM Link, larger injectors - possibly a fuel pump and or a fuel pump re-wire.

That's not necessarily true. We don't have enough info. The description sounds like creep which leads to fuel cut.

What he repaired is exhaust leak, not boost leak. I don't know how much it was leaking but if the boost controller has been set with the exhaust leak, he may see higher boost after repairing the exhaust leak with the same controller setup. And if his setup was causing boost creep before, then maybe he starts seeing the boost creep again.

How much boost exactly? How do you know you're running out of fuel and not just a spark issue?
My boost Gauge says it’s bouncing past 20-25psi. I don’t think it’s a spark issue because I have a stock fuel pump and injectors and know they can’t handle that much. I’ll post a video in the tread below

Ok, so you have no boost control?

Maybe this has been mentioned already, but visually inspect that your wastegate actuator is connected to a boost source and its arm is attached to the wastegate arm.

Going further, do a boost leak test and be sure to include the wastegate actuator. Watch for movement of the wga arm and the arm of the wastegate itself. Also verify the wga holds pressure to check for membrane rupture.

the car should only be running 13 psi at most

the stock ecu can only handle 13psi of boost. it doesnt matter what size fuel pump you have or injectors, the stock ecu can only calibrate to 13psi

take a picture of your engine bay.

do you know what a wastegate is? do you know where the waste gate is located?

you dont have a boost controller that is a boost gauge

Are you trying to break it? Don't stay in it when it's like that.

this is the first time ive heard someone say theres too much boost LOL
There are lots of posts that fall under the category of "too much boost" - but they are usually associated with larger turbo's and bent or broken parts and blown head gaskets and melted pistons.

OP seems to have put their finger on the issue.
"Boost good - Fuel cut bad"
