Like the title says: I bought a turbo from a 10+yr member on here (with zero classifieds feedback) two weeks ago and haven’t heard from him since. Says his last login was 4/11.

I purchased with PayPal goods and services. Never had to file a dispute before, would rather I just get the part I paid for but, it’s not looking good

Have you reached out or emailed him? Maybe he will see the email before here as sometimes people can take a while to come back here when they get busy. I sell to people and sometimes its days or even weeks before they come back on to see my messages.

If the emails fail then try seeing if they on FB and message them directly and no luck then file the claim and if they get back to you then great but ONLY close it once you know its sorted as once closed then you cannot re open it! So ask for pics and tracking etc with names shown on paper to be 100% sure its all ok

Immediately when you get that feeling. You can always drop the dispute but you should initiate as soon as possible. I treat people how I want to be treated. It's not fair for someone to send me $$ and me not to respond back. 3-5 days should be tops if no response/acknowledgment has been received.

Sometimes people end up in sudden situations where talking to classifieds customers or shipping out items is the last thing they even think of doing (ie. Death of a family member)
It's not like they're going to email everyone back and say why during that hard time.

Nevertheless, initiate the claim. They can respond to PayPal and you can work it at that point when you get an explanation and come to an arrangemrnt. Because right now, you have no idea what's going on.

I wouldn't drop the claim until you have proof it's send or you have it in hand. Never dealt with a pp claim before so I don't know if the latter is possible
