2G 95 FWD auto control cable question

Hey guys, I notice there is a lot of play at the end of this cable, can this piece be replaced?

Since the cables are discontinued you may have to measure the thread and the length of the control end to find a suitable replacement. Metric female rod end heim fitting.

How would I measure the thread from that piece? Where can I find that piece also.
